Then consider studying abroad in CHINA this summer! 
 
This 4‐week traveling program sponsored by International Academic Programs (IAP) and the Center for 
East Asian Studies begins and ends in China’s vibrant capital city of Beijing, but also travels to many 
other parts of the country. 
 
Students do NOT need to know Chinese because the course is taught in ENGLISH! 
 
Participants will receive four (4) credits of East Asian Studies 301: Topics in Social Sciences.

              Excursions into Chinese History
      Program Length: 4 weeks (late May to mid-June)
Study Chinese history in the places where it was made! Sponsored
  by the Center for East Asian Studies and International Academic
Programs, this 4-week traveling program begins and ends in China’s

                               Requirement: Cumulative 2.5 GPA
                               No language requirement
                               Primary Language of Instruction: English
                               Faculty From: UW-Madison and Peking University
                               Subject Overview: East Asian Studies, History, Social Science
                               Students will earn four (4) credits on this program.
