The Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant (HNHB) Local Health Integration Networ k (LHIN) is one of 14 LHINs
that have been established in Ontario. Our mandate is to plan, coordinate, integrate and fund health -care
services at the regional level.
This position reports to the HNHB LHIN Chief Information Officer (CIO).
This individual is responsible for establishing and managing a Project Management Office located in the
Hamilton Region. T his person is also accountable for planning, tracking and controlling e-Health initiatives of the
Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN.
Liaison with Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care on topics of common interest
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and users
Set up and manage the project office
Responsible for managing all project aspects including staffing, resource and funding
Create and execute project w ork plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and
Ensure project goals and objectives are defined and the deliverables are met
Ensure standards of practice are adopted and implemented
Prepare budgets, financial reports on funded pr ojects
Monitor and evaluate program/project results and oversee post-implementation evaluation
Participate in development of IM/IT strategic plan
On as needed basis, travel to project sites to oversee/monitor project activities
Superior project management and problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience in presenting project reports to senior management and exter nal audiences
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to exercise initiative, tact and judgment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team envir onment
Ability to work independently with limited direction
Demonstrated experience in directing complex concurrent projects
Bilingualism an asset
