                    CHAPEL CENTER CLOSING CHECKLIST
The following items are the Minimum requirements to successfully close the Chapel following an activity.
Please note that, as the project person, you are responsible for the cleanliness and security of the chapel
facility. If you are not the last person in the building, please be sure a responsible adult is aware of your
departure. Initial next to each line as you complete them and return the completed checklist the following
day.

CLEANLINESS: (location of cleaning supplies)

________a. Have you disposed of all trash and all food scraps in dumpsters located outside the building?

________b. Is the kitchen clean and free of trash and food items?

________c. Have the kitchen counters been wiped down and dish rags/towels hung to dry?

________d. Is the refrigerator/freezer shut tightly?

________e. Are all items properly stored in the refrigerator?

________f. Are all tables and chairs cleaned and returned to their original location?

________g. Are the coffee burners turned off and the pots rinsed and left to dry?

________h. Is the floor cleaned?

SECURITY:

________a. Are all office doors secured?

________b. Have you physically checked all outside doors and windows to ensure they are locked?

________c. Are all lights turned off?

________d. Did you physically check all rooms and restrooms to ensure no one was left inside the
building?

________e. Is the T.V. turned off?

SAFETY

________a. Is the oven and range off?

________b. All electronics off?
