Master Financial Responsibility Acknowledgement Of Open Account for Educational Services During your time as a student at Benedictine College, charges for tuition, room, board, fees, miscellaneous charges, etc. will be assessed to each student’s individual student account and/or payment plan account. Financial aid as well as payments will be processed as credits against the charges as a way of reducing the net amount due from each student. Failure to pay the balance due in full and/or to enroll in an approved tuition payment plan (TPP) by required deadlines may result in additional charges to the student. The net amount due from each student may be paid in one of two approved payment methods: 1. Balance paid in full by stated deadlines prior to the start of each semester, or 2. Balance may be paid monthly by enrolling in an approved monthly Tuition Payment Plan The College reserves the right to refuse to admit students to class until they abide by outlined payment terms. Students are required to maintain their accounts in current status in order to proceed in the registration process each term. The College also reserves the right to hold diplomas and/or transcripts until the student’s account has been settled. Billing/payment details are available in the College Course Catalog as well as on-line under the Student Billing Quick Link at www.benedictine.edu; payment plan enrollment forms are also available at this link. Each student is responsible to become familiar with the policy. Questions should be referred to the Student Billing Office at 913-360-7407 or 7405. Benedictine College has the right to assess monthly interest charges, late charges, administrative charges, reasonable collection costs, attorney fees, and any other costs associated with or which accrue due to the delinquent status of a student and/or payment plan account. Delinquent accounts may also be referred to collection agencies chosen by Benedictine College and notification may also be given to the credit bureau agencies. Benedictine College desires to work closely with students to manage their financial stewardship of this open account for educational purposes.
