Preamble: Recognizing that becoming a teacher is a developmental process that begins at the
pre-service level and continues throughout one’s teaching career, reflect on, and respond to, the
following questions. In doing so, consider both your faculty and practicum experiences to
date. On your first school visit, you are expected to provide a completed copy of this action plan
to: (i) your collaborating teacher(s), (ii) your faculty advisor, and (iii) your stream leader, so that
they can help you monitor your professional growth. You are also encouraged to include a copy
of this plan in your professional portfolio.
