Job Description

Chief Financial Officer position available immediately in Houston, TX area. This CFO
position is an excellent opportunity to work for a growth oriented company in an exciting
and developing industry. You will be instrumental in providing strategic management of
accounting and finance functions as well as directing accounting policies, procedures,
and internal controls. In addition you will oversee audits and collaborate with the CIO on
technology decisions related to financial systems implementations and upgrades. As the
CFO you will mange relationships with investors and identify business risks as well as
hire, train and retain accounting and finance staff. The ideal candidate will have prior
power industry experience, as well as experience with project finance. Emissions trading
and/or contract structures a plus.

Qualifications:

   ●   MBA, preferably with CPA credentials
   ●   Minimum of 10 years of financial experience
   ●   Prior experience as a Senior Accounting Manager, Controller, or Director of
       Finance
   ●   Prior power industry experience is a big plus
   ●   Energetic with a great work ethic
   ●   Self Starter with excellent leadership skills and ability to meet deadlines.
   ●   Outstanding management and communication skills.
   ●   Prepared to tackle any task, big or small.
   ●   Motivated, independent and organized personality
   ●   Able to multi task and wear different “hats”
   ●   Self driven and resourceful, and prepared to work overtime at times.
   ●   Exceptional MS Excel and MS Office skills
   ●   Financial modeling skills with regard to cash flow and forecasting/budgeting
   ●   High level understanding of systems implementation is also preferred.
   ●   Motivated, independent and organized personality
   ●   Ability to work under, and meet deadlines
   ●   Self driven and resourceful, and prepared to work overtime at times.
   ●   Experienced with payroll processes
   ●   Management of credit and collection staff
   ●   Preparation of consolidated financial statements and SEC reports
   ●   Reconciliation of the general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
   ●   Review of budgeted sales and expenses on a monthly basis.
   ●   Preparation of variance analysis.
   ●   Implementation, monitoring and management of internal controls to include
   ●   documentation and audit thereof
   ●   Management of inventories, coordination of physical inventories and related
   ●   valuation.
   ●   Co-ordination, preparation and maintenance of annual budgets
   ●   Compliance coordination (Insurance. Tax agencies, Labor related etc…)
   ●   Preparation, maintenance and monitoring of production requirements (such as
       letters of credit).
   ●   Daily cash flow reporting and analysis
   ●   Manage relationships with financial institutions, lawyers and insurance brokers
   ●   Languages: English and Spanish or French
   ●   Other: Merger & Acquisitions; Commercial
