The CIA is the only globally accepted designation for internal auditors. It is the standard by which
internal audit professionals demonstrate their knowledge and competence. Earning the CIA

Payment Plan option: A Payment plan option for the complete series package is available for those using a
credit card to register. Payment plan schedule to be charged to cc on dates noted: $625 payment due at time of
registration. Payment # 2 - $625 due on January 29; Payment # 3 - $625 due on February 19; Payment # 4 -
$350 due on March 19. Students may make additional payments prior to final due date by check or money order
and amount will be credited as received (mailed to EMU Extended Programs, CIA Series, 100 Boone Hall,
Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Name, address, and class name must be included with payment.
Please note that to earn either the CIA designation candidates must meet certain criteria and fill out an

Cancellation policy: All cancellations must be in writing. Those who cancel one week before the program starts will receive a full
refund. Those who cancel less than one week before the start of the program will receive a 50-percent refund. No refund is available
to those who cancel during the program. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment, instructor limitations, or other
circumstances as deemed necessary by EMU Continuing Education.
