Independent Novel Assignments
1. Create a poster on glogster. (Due Friday, November 13 th)
Go to www.glogster.com and register.
(Please remember what Ms. Turley said about this site; it is open to the general public so
anyone can create posters. I am not asking that you peruse this site, but instead use it to
create a poster for your book.)
Your poster should include:
at least one picture that represents or symbolizes an important aspect of your novel
(character, setting, plot, conflict, symbol)
the title of the work
the author’s name
at least 3 statements that summarize the events in the novel; a viewer should be
able to determine the plot of the novel in the broadest sense
Once you have completed these four criteria, save under a name that you can remember.
We will view them in class.
