Fraternity Announces the International Leadership Academy
Faculty Selection Process
Dr. Bennie L. Harris, Director of the Phi Beta Sigma International Leadership Academy,
announces that the academy is seeking Brothers with training skills to serve as
members of the academy’s faculty. The faculty will be provided an orientation in the
leadership academy curriculum and be responsible for delivering the curriculum’s
content to members of the fraternity.
Brothers interested in serving on the faculty should have some experience in delivering
training programs; have good communications skills, strong positive image, and work
well with people, and will be available to support the academy’s training agenda for
state, regional and national meetings.
We anticipate hosting a faculty retreat in February. This is a great opportunity to
continue to serve your fraternity. This is a non-paid position; all expenses related to the
retreat will be paid.
If you are interested in being considered for the faculty, please send your cover letter
and resume/vita to Dr. Bennie Harris, International Leadership Academy Director at
email: email@example.com. Please include in your cover letter the following:
current chapter, chapter initiated, year of initiation, membership card number, a
summary of your involvement in the fraternity and why you wish to be considered for a
faculty appointment. When submitting your cover letter and resume/vita, please place
in the subject line of your email; Sigma Leadership Academy Faculty Applicant.
All Brothers expressing interest must be financially active with the fraternity.
Deadline for all applicants is January 25, 2009. If you have questions please call Dr.
Harris at 615-973-7668.
