History of “GHIG”
2003: Organization started by a medical student and physician/faculty advisor to help other medical students learn more about global health issues 2005: Inauguration of UW Interdisciplinary Center for Global Health 2007: GHIG presently consists of students from various health professional programs: medicine, physician assistant, pharmacy, nursing, public health, veterinary and environmental health students
