mail, is November 1, 2008. Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. is unable to confirm receipt of entries. Any

                   JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SOUTH BREVARD, INC., OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, NOR WILL A PURCHASE IMPROVE ONE’S CHANCES
    OF WINNING. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, OUTSIDE THE U.S., AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Eligibility/Entries: You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and a legal United
States resident (excluding residents of Puerto Rico). Contest is open to all eligible individuals as defined above.
Proof of U.S. residency may be a condition of winning a prize. The following persons are not eligible to
participate: Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., members. Contest begins in the Women of Achievement
Month, September 2008, and ends on November 1, 2008. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these
Official Rules.
2. This contest requires the submission of an essay to participate. To participate, go to http://www.jlsb.net
and follow the directions to submit your essay. By entering this Contest, entrants give their express permission to
be contacted by Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., via telephone, e-mail, and/or postal mail and to have their
entry, if selected as a Grand Prize Winner, Runner-Up, Finalist, or Honorable Mention, displayed on the Junior
League of South Brevard, Inc., website for the purpose of public judging and/or viewing without any additional
compensation.
Each entry submitted through the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., website must be submitted between the
dates of September 8, 2008, and November 1, 2008, inclusive. All entries become the exclusive property of
Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., and may be used on the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., website.
Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
Each entry submitted, regardless of web submission, email submission, or by mail, must be received between
the dates of September 8, 2008, and 11:59 p.m., EST, November 1, 2008, inclusive. Entries will not be
acknowledged or returned. Any entry received after 11:59 p.m., on November 1, 2008, will not be considered.
Participants must follow all instructions to enter.
3. ESSAY FORMAT AND RULES: Essay must address the following topic. In 500 words or less, write us about,
“Hey Suze, I am taking back my life by facing my money fears and now I am taking the steps to obtain financial
freedom by...” Essay must be in English, must be the original work of the entrant, must not have been entered in
another contest, published previously, or sold for publication, must not have won previous awards, and must not
infringe on any third party rights. Illegible, late, damaged or incomplete entries or submissions that do not fully
comply with all requirements set forth herein will be automatically disqualified. Sponsor(s) shall have the right to
edit, adapt, and publish any or all essays submitted, and may use in any Media with or without attribution or
compensation to the entrant, his or her successors or assigns, or any other entities unless prohibited by law.
Submission of an entry in this contest constitutes entrant’s irrevocable assignment, conveyance and
transference to Sponsor(s) of all right, title and interest in the entry, including, without limitations all copyright.
4. JUDGING AND AWARDING OF PRIZES: Three (3) winning essays will be selected on the basis of
originality, creativity, quality, passion, drive, and personal experience. Points for each of these categories will be
awarded as follows: Originality, creativity, and quality will count for 50%, passion and drive, 25 %, and personal
experience with money management, 25%. Essays will be judged by Junior League of South Brevard, Inc. The
judging is final. Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., judges will select the top three (3) essays based on point
totals, which will be displayed on the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., website. The Top 3 Finalists will be
notified on or about November 10, 2008. Finalists will be notified by e-mail, mail or phone. The Grand Prize
Winner will be announced on or about November 20, 2008 by JLSB and/or our Media Partner.

5. PRIZES: The Grand Prize Winner will receive two (2) tickets to Suze Orman’s performance and VIP party,
November 22, 2008, at the Maxwell C. King Center (prize valued at $400 Cash). The First Runner Up will
receive two (2) tickets to the Suze Orman performance, November 22, 2008, at the Maxwell C. King Center, and
Suze Orman’s latest book, (prize valued at $150 Cash). The Second Runner Up Winner will receive two (2)
tickets to the Suze Orman performance, November 22, 2008, at the Maxwell C. King Center, (prize valued at
$100 Cash).
6. Prize Acceptance: Junior League of South Brevard, Inc., reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or
greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Prize is not transferable or assignable. No prize substitutions,
except as provided herein. All taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the
winners. Winners will be issued an IRS 1099 tax form (winners are advised to seek independent counsel
regarding prize winnings). Winners will be obligated and must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and
Liability/Publicity Release, an assignment of all rights in the essay, including all intellectual property rights, and
any other documentation required by Sponsor, including Social Security number, except where prohibited.
Affidavits, Releases, and assignments must be returned within seven (7) days of notification of selection as a
Finalist, or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If a prize notification letter or prize is
unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and corresponding prize will be awarded to an
alternate winner, subject to acceptance and all of the requirements of the Official Rules. By accepting prize,
winners grant Sponsors, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, and
advertising and promotional agencies (“Sponsors and their agents”) the right to use and publish winner’s essay,
runners’ up essays, and honorable mention essays, proper name, state of residence and likenesses for
advertising and promotional purposes on-line and in print, or in any other media, worldwide, in connection with
the Contest, without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited. By accepting prize,
winners agree to release Sponsors and their agents, and each of their respective officers, employees, and
directors, from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind incurred with respect to the prize awarded, its
receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize, or the participation in the Contest or in prize-related
activities. Sponsors are not responsible if the performance night is canceled or changed to an alternative date.
7. Limitations of Liability: Sponsors and their agents are not responsible for any computer, on-line, telephone
or technical malfunctions, delays, or human errors that occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of
entries, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, lost
or delayed by computer transmissions. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of being conducted as
planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention,
fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsors, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole
discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole
discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be defrauding the entry process or the operation of the Contest,
to be violating these Official Rules, or to be acting in a disruptive manner.
8. Winners List: For a list of winners, available on or after November 10, 2008, visit the website at www.jlsb.net.

damage to persons or property that may be sustained by any person due to that person's participation in this contest, and
