About the Wild Things CD Following the interest in last year’s CD ‘Wild Things – sounds of the disabled underground Vol.1’ we’ve decided to bring out Volume 2. The idea of the first CD was to celebrate the great music being made by people with learning disabilities in the UK. This time round we want to include artists from other parts of the world as well. We will aim to put around 16 tunes on the CD and there are no real rules on the style of music or the content of the songs – we will be listening to everything and want the compilation to be as mixed as possible. We are planning to release the CD in the middle of 2009 on our own ‘Get In Or Get Out’ record label and all proceeds will go towards furthering the work of our Stay Up Late campaign (please see www.stayuplate.org for more details. We also delighted to announce that the fantastic people at Greenbelt Festival have helped to sponsor this release through their Trust Greenbelt initiative.
Just like last time we are really excited to be doing this again as it was great to hear all the wonderful music being made. This time we are also teaming up with a group of visual artists with learning disabilities from Brighton, called The Rockets, who will creating artwork for the booklet inspired by the music. We look forward to hearing your music Best wishes

Heavy Load will make the final decision on which songs to include and we will aim to provide feedback and comments on all entries to let you know why they have, or have not been included. As we don't know what the interest will be we are inviting entries from everyone, even if you were on the last compilation. However, it is likely we will need to give priority to artists who weren't on the last CD if there is a lot of interest. We hope you'll understand. Checklist: Have you completed all the boxes? (tick)
Have you included the CD/CD-R of your song? Have you included a good quality (‘hi-resolution’) photo on a CD? Have you confirmed that you have written the song, or have written permission to use it? Have you signed this form?
