In this Directory are members of the Cross Country Ski Areas Association. Whether it’s called a cross country ski area, an outdoor center, a nordic center, a ski resort or a touring center; these places specialize in winter fun and invite you to their trails for the best cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Information presented here is abbreviated for publication. This Directory organizes the nordic centers first by country (Canada & U.S.) and then by state and province. TRAILS ... listed in this Directory are the machine-groomed trails. Cross country trails are generally measured in kilometers which are .6 miles and abbreviated by km. Cross Country Ski Area Association (CCSAA) is a nonprofit organization representing member ski service providers. The Association’s purpose is to promote the growth and improve the quality of cross country ski operations in North America.

ABOUT CCSAA
These national standard signs indicate relative difficulty of ski trails at each area. Please choose trails appropriate to your ability and fitness.
CCSAA is a resource to the ski area operator, providing industry information to members; stimulating improvements within the industry; and sponsoring debate and idea exchange within the organization. CCSAA acts as a clearing house of information on cross country skiing to the media.
RENTALS RENTALS...most nordic centers rent ski equipment. We have noted the exceptions in this Directory. Snowshoes and CCSAA is a 501-C-6 non-profit association as defined by children’s pulk sleds may also be available to rent. Inquire the IRS. Many ski area trails cross OUR SPONSOR private property and protecting access for skiers is of primary concern. However, some nordic centers welcome CCSAA appreciates the support of the following company skiers with dogs. Please inquire with the ski area before which works with us. Their program helps CCSAA to bringing your dog. promote cross country skiing and snowshoeing. SNOWSHOEING...most cross country areas invite snowSNOWSHOEING shoers to use their trails. Some nordic centers designate trails specific for snowshoers. Be sure to ask which trails are for snowshoeing. If the trails are shared with xc skiers, please stay off the groomed tracks and yield to skiers.
