Final Assessment Project English Language Arts 8 Unit 3 – Beneath the Ink Objective: Create a poetry Wiki page that demonstrates your ability to: choose, analyze, respond to and create poetry. Criteria 1. Collection of poems o Examples of 3 different forms need to be chosen  Blank Verse  Haiku  Limerick  Cinquain  Concrete  Free Verse  Diamante  Narrative 2. Personal responses to each (paragraph form) o Did you like the poem? Why or Why not. o What was the poem about? Evidence 3. A Poem of your creation o Can be any form 4. Collaborative Segment o Edits on 3 Other Student Pages  Ideas  Grammar  Could be in the form of a discussion thread or actual written editing on the page would show up in the revision history 5. Written Component  Printed page(s) of your Wiki project  List of collaborations that you participated in  Personal reflection of what you learned about poetry in this unit – 1 Paragraph Quality of Content 4 Design looks nice (coordinated, easy layout) Have all elements 3 2 Has all elements of Badly organized criteria Most elements of Design is the criteria organized 1 Did you do the assignment???
