 Tenure:
    Full-time registration and attendance
    Max of 10 hours/week on employment (e.g. TAing)
    Paid to your tuition account in installments
 Renewal: contingent upon you,
    maintaining min CGPA of 3.67 (A-) with no grade below B- for
     MASc (and B for PhD students) and no INC, AND
    applying for OGS, NSERC scholarships

 Specify the anticipated thesis defense date if possible

                    Oral Examination
Think of as a 5-week process …

-4 weeks: Notification of exam date and exam committee (EC)
-3 weeks: Submission of thesis/project copies to EC members
 0 week: Oral examination (20-minute oral presentation focusing
       mainly on research/project results and your contribution)
+1 week: Completion of corrections/revisions and submission of
         final thesis to SGS (Terry McAfee)
  Acceptance of your thesis/report will be based on quality of the written
       work, and the student's ability to defend the work in the oral
                                examination
       Oral exams are posted in /gradstudies/oralexams/
