                                                           dinner, the parents told about serving as missionaries in South America and becoming ill with hepatitis. They also
                                                           mentioned that he had received a bicycle from some wonderful children back in the states. The young woman began
                                                           to cry when she realized that her savings had blessed the future husband.

                                                           We may never know how our thankfulness for God’s blessings that we share will touch the lives of others. God
                                                           blesses our thankfulness and our giving and He multiplies our gifts tenfold. Thanksgiving is not a one day celebration
                                                           featuring a turkey dinner. It is not about the biggest shopping day of the year on the Friday following. . Thanksgiv-
                                                           ing is about remembering our abundance even in times of stress and difficulty. We need to take time to remember all
                                                           of our blessings each day, for our loving God has made us and we are His children. May we give thanks to God and
                                                           bless God’s name.
