                  WISCONSIN STATE FAIR
                  TO MAIN STAGE LINEUP
                      FOR 2009 FAIR
West Allis, WI – April 13, 2009 – Officials of Wisconsin State Fair today announced two
more concerts for the Time Warner Cable Main Stage for the 2009 Wisconsin State Fair,
presented by U. S. Cellular. The 2009 Fair will take place Thursday, August 6 through
Sunday, August 16 at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis.

The Time Warner Cable Main Stage welcomes one of the most popular rock acts in the
world for the opening night of the Fair. Foreigner, who has a slew of smash hits, multi-
platinum albums, and sold out concert tours to their credit, will perform for fans at 8pm
on Thursday, August 6. With hits including “Cold as Ice,” “Urgent,” and “Hot Blooded” to
“Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “Jukebox Hero,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,”
Foreigner’s mix of songs and influences continues to captivate audiences of all ages
and generations. Reserved seat tickets for Foreigner will go on sale at 10am on
Saturday, April 18 and will be available for $30, $20, and $10.

A throng of screaming tween girls will fill the stands on Sunday, August 9 at 6pm when
Disney sensation Demi Lovato takes the stage. The star of the Disney Channel’s Sonny
with a Chance about a girl from Wisconsin who goes to Los Angeles, and the Disney
Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and the upcoming Princess Protection Program,
Demi’s popularity has skyrocketed. Demi, who has played the piano and guitar since

age 11, also has an Academy Award nomination to her credit for the song “That’s How
You Know” from Enchanted. Lovato’s musical talents gained further recognition when
she toured with the Jonas Brothers in 2008. Support act for Demi Lovato’s performance
at the Fair will be named at a later date. Reserved seat tickets for Demi Lovato will go
on sale to the public on Saturday, April 18 at 10am and will be available for $35, $25,
and $15.

Two previously announced shows for the Time Warner Cable Main Stage will also go on
sale on Saturday, April 18 at 10am. Reserved seat tickets for Big & Rich with Cowboy
Troy, and Candy Coburn will be $45, $35, and $20; and general admission tickets for
the Wisconsin School Music Association Parade Marching Showcase will be $8.

Tickets for all 2009 Time Warner Cable Main Stage concerts and for the Wisconsin
State Fair may be purchased online at WiStateFair.com or in person at the Wisconsin
State Fair Box Office at the U.S. Cellular Main Gate at Wisconsin State Fair Park.
Admission to the Fair is required in addition to any concert ticket, and there is no unpaid
seating in the venue. Fair concertgoers are encouraged to take advantage of Fair Deal
savings when purchasing their concert ticket and buy their Adult Fair Single Day
Admission ticket for only $5 (a $4 savings) when purchasing concert tickets between
April 1 and June 30. Service fees apply to all online ticket purchases. Note:
Please be aware that State Fair Park and new local municipal ordinances will prohibit
the reselling of tickets for more than their face value. Penalties could range from
$250.00 to as much as $1,000.00 per incident.
