1.    Pharmacognostical, Phytochemical Investigation and pharmacological study were
      examined in the roots of TRICHODESMA -INDICUM
2.    Pharmacognostical, Phytochemical Investigation and pharmacological study were
      examined in the barks of plant CRITIVA NERULA.
3.    Pharmacognostical, Phytochemical Investigation and pharmacological study were
      examined in the roots of PLAMBAGO - ZYLANICUM
4.    A study of Phytochemical and Microbiological investigation on plant VITEX -NEGUNDO
5.    Pharmacognostical, Phytochemical Investigation and pharmacological study were
      examined in the plant BALIOSPERMUM MONTANUM.
6.    A spectral study on alcoholic extract of few Solanaceae plants.
7.    An Analytical study in comparison of BROMHEXINE containing preparation with
      VASICINE & VASICINONE present in the VASAKA Leaf powder containing official
      marketed preparation.
8.    A simultaneous spectroscopic method of study is carried out in combination drug of
      Pracetamol and Diclofenac sodium.
9.    A project work on plambago - zylanicum to prepare oil base preparation named
      "PAINTED LADY OIL" and its standardization with pharmacological action.
10.   A study on OYSTES SHELL CRASSOTREA MADRASENSIS and to formulate a
      herbal "SOOTHING FOOT CARE" cream with AMLA juice and its stability &
      Pharmacological studies.
11.   Pharmacognostical, Photochemical Investigation and pharmacological study were
      examined in the plant PHYSALIS MINIMA

12.    Production of ETHANOL from various sources by FERMENTATION process and it's
       Analysis
13.    A project work on the estimation of DICHLOFENAC SODIUM by simplest colorimetric
       method.
14.    A simultaneous spectroscopic method of study is carried out in combination drug of
       ATENOLOL AND NEFIDIPINE.
15.    A proposal is given for the Pharmacognostical, Photochemical Investigation and
       pharmacological study on various ETHIOPIAN MEDICINAL PLANTS.
16.    Presently working for a Book to be published in Basic Pharmaceutical Industrial
       Instrumental Methods for Pharmacy Degree students.
17. A new spectrophotometric method have been designed for fluconazole using 119 Systronics
UV/Vis - spectrophotometer.
18. Working on formulating a herbal cough mixture and to standardize according to the WHO
guideline.
19. Working on formulating herbal hair oil with vitamins and anti dandruff activity.
20. A project is running on the release study for diclofenac potassium in tablet formulation.

    XI.       CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION
          Describe each criteria with its respective weightages i.e. Admission Test, marks in
              qualifying examination etc.
          Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm
                   -         A pass in HSC/PDC or equivalent examination with average of 50% in
                             Physics and Chemistry with Biology or Botany and Zoology in aggregate (BC
                             –50%, MBC-50%) in Tamil Nadu.
                   -         SC/ST in Tamilndu – Pass in HSC or equivalent Physics and Chemistry with
                             Biology or Botany and Zoology
                   -         NRI Seats – Pass in HSC / PDC
                   -         Diploma Holders, for admission to first year, a minimum average of 50% in
                             the final year.
                   -         Candidates should have appeared the Entrance Examination.
          Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any.
                   Pass in B.Pharm.
          Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the
              admission test for the last three years.
                   -         A pass in HSC/PDC or equivalent examination with average of 50% in
