Exsa SA (Exsa) is a Peru-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture, distribution and sale of industrial explosives used in the construction and mining industries. The Company's range of products includes dynamites, hydrogels, emulsions, granular blasting agents, seismic explosives and ammonium nitrate, among others. The Company's facilities comprise three production plants, which are located in the departments of Lima, Tacna and La Libertad, as well as a network of distribution centers established in Trujillo, Lima, Cuzco, Arequipa, Tacna, Palpa, Cerro de Pasco and Huaraz. Additionally, the Company's products are exported to Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador. As of December 31, 2009, the Company was a 34.2%-owned affiliate of Inversiones San Borja SA.
