Word 2003 - Learn to mail merge using Microsoft Word
Date: Tuesday January 29th from 9am to 10am in room K1019

If you work with lists and need to send out letters and information to
large groups of people. Why not save time and effort by putting
Microsoft Word’s mail merge feature to work for you. Come on out
and learn how to use Microsoft Word to create mail merge
documents such as letters and labels quickly and easily.

Outlook 2003 - Using Microsoft Outlook web access
Date: Thursday January 31st from 9am to 10am in room K1019

Do need to access your college email, calendar, etc. from
home. Well you can do just that quickly and easily using
Microsoft Outlook Web Access.

       Learn how to
       Access your college email account from computers
       outside the college (home)
       Send and receive emails
       Use the calendar to schedule appointments
       Set up tasks (to do list) so you don’t forget

Excel 2003 - Using if statements and conditional formatting
Date: Thursday January 31st from 1pm to 2pm in room K1019

How would you like to be able to test the contents of a cell and then
have Excel perform a specific action based on the results of that test?
For example if the contents of cell A12 > 50,000 then display the
words “Over budget” in an adjacent cell in red. Well it can be done!

Outlook 2003 – Working with tasks and notes
Date: Thursday February 7th from 9am to 10am in room K1019

Microsoft Outlook contains some very handy and powerful tools. Although not
as impressive as the mail or calendar features, the Tasks and Notes tools can be
a valuable addition to your day to day activities. Tasks can be used to schedule
upcoming activities that need to be taken care of (book rooms, complete
paperwork) and to help you keep on top of projects that have due dates. Notes
can be used much like “sticky notes” for recording those quick items.

New!   Excel 2007 – Introduction to Excel 2007
       Date: Tuesday February 19th from 9am to 11am in room A2016

       The new Excel 2007 is packed full of hot new features. New
       styles, new conditional formatting, galleries and a
       whole lot more. It’s hard to know where to begin.

       If that is not enough, Excel 2007 also boasts the new
       Office 2007 navigation system called “Fluent” which
       is designed for user speed and efficiency.

       Gone are the traditional menu systems found in
       earlier versions of Excel and Office. Excel now has the new
       Office button, Quick Access Toolbar and the Ribbon.

       There are enough of new bells and whistles to make even the
       seasoned number cruncher sit up and take notice. So put some
       time aside and check out the new Excel 2007.

New!   Powerpoint 2007 – Introduction to Powerpoint 2007
       Date: Tuesday February 26th from 9am to 11am in room K1019

       With a new look and feel PowerPoint 2007 has the punch and
       power to deliver some pretty amazing presentations. Sporting
       the new Office 2007 interface called “Fluent”; PowerPoint 2007
       puts the commands and features you need right at your finger
       tips.

       The new PowerPoint 2007 offers a wide range of new features
       including new slide designs, new layouts and lots of new
       templates. As well PowerPoint as offers new graphics and a new graphics
       engine for better quality images and presentation. For those of you with
       two monitors, PowerPoint also offers the new Presenter View which will allow you to
       view your presentation on one monitor while controlling it on another. The list of new
       features is long so come on out and see what the new PowerPoint 2007 can do for you!
