Please note: Your place will be confirmed once we have received your deposit. Full course fees must be paid two weeks before the course start date. Bookings and Cancellation Policy Places on our courses are limited, so we therefore operate a Booking and Cancellation Policy regarding the payment, refund or transfer of course fees. 1) Bookings made more than two weeks in advance are subject to payment of a non- refundable deposit of £80, along with the submission of a completed application form. Full payment is required to book a place if you are applying within two weeks of the course start date. 2) If a deposit has been made, payment of the remainder of the course fee needs to be made two weeks prior to the start of the course. 3) Full payment of course fees must be made in advance if a letter of confirmation is required for visa purposes. 4) Merlin needs to receive written notification of cancellation either via letter or email. 5) The £80 deposit is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled two or more weeks before a course is due to start, any course fees paid to date (minus the deposit) will be refunded. If you wish to transfer courses two or more weeks in advance, the deposit and any other course fees will be transferred to another course, less an administrative fee of £30. 6) No refund will be made for bookings cancelled less than two weeks before the event, except in exceptional circumstances and then only at the discretion of the Learning and Development Officer. However, we will consider transferring the deposit and course fee to another course, less an administrative fee of £30. 7) No refund will be made for non-attendance on the course. 8) In the event of cancellation of the course by Merlin, we will strive to inform all participants two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. All course fees paid to date will be reimbursed in full, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including flights, accommodation etc. 9) Where course dates are changed by Merlin, course participants may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient.
