Gingerbread Halloween Cookies               Egg Carton Bats
8oz Flour
1 ½ teaspoons of ground ginger              This is an easy way to make bats using egg
                                            cartons, crayons or markers, and scissors.
1 ½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon            Googly eyes are a nice touch.
Pinch of salt                               Separate 3 cups from an egg carton. Cut out
3oz sugar                                   part of the bottoms of the 2 outside cups to
                                            resemble bat wings. Add eyes, a mouth, and

1 teaspoon baking soda
                                            Hang it from a string or a rubber band.
3oz Butter

In large bowl, cream butter, sugar, egg
and sugar. Dissolve baking soda in warm
water and add to egg mixture. Beat until
Slowly add flour, spices and salt. Mix
until well blended.
Cover and chill for 24 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease
