The production supervisor will directly supervise 8-20 employees and will work a rotating shift
schedule. Production supervisors are responsible for safety, quality, daily production and
retention, as well as raising the level of performance in their assigned area. In addition, the
production supervisor is responsible for communicating information to the hourly employees and
carrying out required administrative tasks.

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and two years of supervisory
experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The position provides excellent growth
opportunities. Therefore, candidates must possess a strong desire to fast track into production

Financial Accounting Analyst

The accounting group at Guardian’s Geneva, NY plant is searching for a person who, at their core, wants to build on
their exceptional accounting track record and take on whatever accounting challenges are presented by a large,
diverse, international, and private company. This person must also aspire to be a leader, possess highly effective
skills in dealing with tasks, people and their own behaviors, and have demonstrated a consistent and high level of
engagement in past positions.

The Financial Accounting Analyst must possess the skills and knowledge sought below, but more importantly, he
or she will need to be emotionally committed to their work and to Guardian. By this we aim to hire an individual
who is highly motivated and energetic, confident yet humble, socially agile, wants to learn how things work, and
competitive through teams.

The successful candidate will initially and/or over time be responsible for:
 Producing and analyzing internal & external financial statements
 Closing general ledgers
 Performing accounting research, drafting policy, and providing guidance
 Accounting for U.S. and foreign income taxes, foreign currency translation, and derivatives
 Helping others – involving cash, investment & debt management, tax return preparation & planning, capital
    acquisition, risk management, and procurement

The qualified candidate will possess the following:
 Bachelor’s degree in accounting
 Private accounting experience of at least 2-4 years preferred
 SEC accounting and reporting experience a plus
