Fireworks Animation – Part I Work together Unit F (pages 187-189) SR (212) ONLY Happy Birthday project Make your own animation: o To make an image a symbol, just click the New Symbol button on the bottom of the Library Panel and drag your image to the symbol window (OR select the object and choose Modify—Symbol—Convert to Symbol) o Have an object move across (or up or down) your canvas by using the Modify—Animation—Animate Selection method. o Save as ANIMATION Fireworks Animation – Part II Work together Unit F (pages 196-211) SR (213) Birthday smile project (skip “Change color depth” section) Make your own animation o Clone your instance (Edit—Clone) o Select both instances; Modify—Symbol—Tween instances o Save as TWEEN Fireworks Animation – Part III Work together Unit F (190-195) SR (212) ONLY Gifts project Make your own animation: o Create the same animation as the gifts project, but use your first name. Make sure your letters stay in place and remain on the canvas once they appear. o After your entire name is displayed, add a glow around your name or something similar to make a change o Add animation to make letters move around, rotate, etc. o Adjust frame delay in at least two frames o Save as NAME
PB1 (214) Birthdaycake Frame-by-Frame Animation 1. Create a new document and save it as BIRTHDAYCAKE 2. Create frame-by-frame animation to add at least 10 candles to the cake—not all at once (cake and candles are in shared folder) 3. After all 10 candles are on the cake, make the cake look like it is getting hotter (glowing, melting, etc.) 4. Then have the cake melt, blow up, or whatever in the last frames. 5. Make sure you have something move, not just “appear” 6. Adjust frame rate where necessary 7. Show to instructor
PB2 (215) READBOOKS Frame-by-Frame Animation 1. Create a new document and save it as READBOOKS 2. Have a book roll (and rotate) across the canvas left to right 3. Have the words READ ALL ABOUT IT appear blurry or slightly transparent and slowly clear up 4. Then add THINK…EXPRESS…CHALLENGE YOURSELF (These words must move and also change colors or something else along with moving.) 5. Adjust frame rate where necessary 6. Show to instructor
PB2 (217) Mymoneymyth Frame-by-Frame Animation 1. Create a new document and save it as MYMONEYMYTH 2. Find images of a tree and leaves (or money or whatever) 3. Using frame-by-frame animation, add at least 10 leaves to your tree (add them individually or two or three at a time) 4. When all leaves are on your tree, have them fall to the ground a. Have them fall two or three at a time or individually; not all at once b. Make sure to show them falling; don’t just have them “appear” on the ground 5. Animate an object of your choice (clouds, bird, etc.) 6. Adjust frame rate where necessary 7. Show to instructor
