                                                 SECTION 03155

                                             FLOOR JOINT FILLER

Specifier Notes: This section covers Euclid “Euco 700” semi-rigid, industrial floor joint filler for interior
concrete construction and control joints.

ACI 302.1R, Paragraph 9.10.1 advises to defer joint filling and sealing as long as possible to minimize
the effects of shrinkage-related joint opening on the filler or sealant. If the joint should be filled before
most of the shrinkage has occurred, separation should be expected between the joint edge and the joint
filler, or within the joint filler itself.

ACI 302.1R, Paragraph 9.10.2 indicates semi-rigid epoxy fillers should be installed full-depth in saw-cut
joints, and at least 1 inch (50 mm) deep in formed joints. Consult Euclid for assistance in editing this
section for the specific application.

This product is also available as “Euco 700 Gel”, a standard-setting, thick-paste consistency material for
special applications. Consult Euclid for more information.

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION
