The Spring Break Tour will perform for one night only – March 27 at 8 p.m. at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. Ticket prices range from $2439 and are on sale at The Center Box Office. Call or visit The Center at (313) 943-2354 or www.dearbornfordcenter.com. Here’s a look at the performers:
Phil Stacy, a season six finalist, had his defining moment on American Idol during Country Week, when he sang Keith Urban’s “Where the Blacktop Ends.”
After American Idol, the Navy veteran and family man signed a recording contract with Lyric Street Records. His debut single, "If You Didn't Love Me," was released to radio in early 2008 as the leadoff to his self-titled debut album. Stacy has been featured on Oprah, Live with Regis & Kelly, The Tonight Show, Ellen, The Today Show, Larry King Live and Nickelodeon’s MeTV. He is now signed to Reunion Records, a major Christian label. Doolittle finished as the third place finalist on the sixth season of American Idol. Prior to her appearance on American Idol, Doolittle worked as a professional back-up singer for, among others, Michael McDonald, Kirk Franklin, Aaron Neville, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Alabama, Jonny Lang, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and Anointed. Doolittle was part of the American Idols Tour 2007, along with her fellow top 10 contestants. She has performed the Star-Spangled Banner at Game 5 of the 2007 NBA Eastern Conference Finals, and she has performed at the White House for former President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. Doolittle’s debut album “Coming Back To You” is a beautiful blend of R & B and pop-soul renaissance. Glocksen was the ninth place finalist of the sixth season of American Idol. Although Gina was often lovably referred to as the “rocker chick,” her musical influences and abilities range far beyond the realm of rock. Since American Idol, Glocksen has toured North America on the American Idols Live Tour and continues to perform around the country showcasing her original music. While on the show, Glocksen’s genuine candor and charming wit made her a favorite of millions and it has helped her to continue her career in entertainment as a cohost on the FOX Reality show “American Idol Extra.” Eze made it through to Hollywood Week in season six and advanced all the way to the top ten during season seven. He has made appearances on Live with Regis and
Kelly, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, following a three-month American Idol Concert tour. His musical influences are Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and John Legend.
