                   3OH!3 SET TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT LONG;

ACCLAIMED ELECTRO-ROCK DUO MAKE NETWORK TV DEBUT

             TONIGHT ON NBC’S LAST CALL WITH CARSON DALY;

         MYSPACE-SPONSORED TOUR SELLING OUT NATIONWIDE

       AS ”DON’T TRUST ME” ARRIVES ON BILLBOARD’S “HOT 100”;

BREAKOUT DEBUT ALBUM, “WANT,” OUT NOW

Photo Finish recording duo 3OH!3 is currently blowing up across North America

with its first-ever headline tour selling out nightly and its new single, ―Don‘t Trust Me,‖

breaking out as a major crossover smash. The Boulder, Colorado-based duo will now

make its network television debut with a performance on tonight‘s installment of NBC‘s
Last Call with Carson Daly, set to air at 1:35 am ET (check local listings). Then, on

December 3rd, 3OH!3 will appear on FUEL.TV‘s The Daily Habit, a half-hour daily show

highlighting today‘s most-popular action sports celebrities, musicians, comedy, and

cutting-edge new products, airing at 9:00 pm ET/PT and re-telecast the next day at 12:00

am ET, 8:30 am ET, and 3:00 pm ET (check local listings).

This evening will also see 3OH!3 – recently named ―Artists To Watch‖ by

Rolling Stone, which hailed the duo‘s ―unhinged‖ live sets, ―tuneful emo-pop hooks,‖
―spastic electro grooves and aggro rapping‖ – taking a brief pause from its current tour to
share an eagerly anticipated bill with Taking Back Sunday at Los Angeles‘ Club Nokia.

The headline trek – sponsored by MySpace, the world‘s premier social network – will

resume November 16th with a sold-out show at Harper‘s Ferry in Allston, Massachusetts.

The tour has proven such a crowd-pleaser that a number of dates have had to be moved to

larger venues to accommodate 3OH!3‘s rapidly increasing fanbase. The coast-to-coast

excursion continues through mid-December, followed by a pair of long-sold-out

homestate dates at Denver‘s The Ogden on January 16th and 17th (see attached itinerary).

From there, 3OH!3 will head to Europe for a full-scale tour alongside Katy Perry, set for
stops in Sweden, Denmark, England, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Belgium.

        ―Don‘t Trust Me,‖ the first single from 3OH!3‘s full-length debut, ―WANT,‖ is

shaping up to be a true sensation, having now entered Billboard‘s ―Hot 100,‖ while also

rocketing into the Top 40 at Alternative outlets nationwide. The track‘s companion video

clip – directed by Travis Kopach (Panic At The Disco, All Time Low, Circa Survive) and

newcomer Isaac Ravishankara – recently received an all day ―Unleashed!‖ premiere on

MTV2 & mtvU, and is now in rotation at FUSE.

Produced by Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Boys Like Girls), ―WANT‖ sees

beatmaster Nathaniel Motte and MC Sean Foreman unleashing tongue-in-cheek rhymes

and beats that incorporate ‗80s pop, electronica, and crunk hip-hop to deliver a knockout

punch. The album has drawn critical acclaim, with further features appearing in

Alternative Press and Rolling Stone.

3OH!3‘s MySpace page – located at www.myspace.com/3oh3 – has long been

among the Top 10 MySpace bands since June 2008, coming in as the week‘s #1 ―Indie –

Thrash‖ outfit, while also placing among the top 3 ―Indie – Electronica‖ ranking. The

duo‘s tracks have registered over 32.5 million streams thus far, with more than 50,000

plays per day.
Ranked among Alternative Press‘s ―100 Bands You Need to Know in 2008,‖

3OH!3 spent their summer lighting it up nightly on the Vans Warped Tour. The duo‘s
explosive live show – which has earned them opening slots for artists as diverse as the

Faint, Snoop Dogg, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony – was unquestionably among the

traveling festival‘s biggest crowd-pleasers. 3OH!3 also made show-stopping appearances

at such unique West Coast festivals as L.A.‘s 2nd annual ―Murder The Dancefloor‖

extravaganza and Icer Air 2008, a one-of-a-kind urban skiing competition/concert event

held at the San Francisco Giants‘ AT&T Park.

               PLIES GOES GOLD WITH “DEFINITION OF REAL”;

              BLOCKBUSTER ALBUM RECEIVES CERTIFICATION

AS FLA-BASED MC UNVEILS TWO NEW TRACKS

                FROM SOON-TO-BE-RELEASED THIRD ALBUM;

                       “Da REAList” DROPS DECEMBER 16TH

―DEFINITION OF REAL,‖ the blockbuster second album from Big Gates/Slip-

N-Slide/Atlantic recording artist Plies, has been certified gold by the RIAA for sales in

excess of 500,000. The album – which features the #1 single, ―Bust It Baby Part 2 (Feat.

Ne-Yo)‖ – debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its June release, with sales of

214,000 – the highest selling first-week numbers in the history of the Miami-based Slip-

N-Slide Records. Plies‘ next album, ―Da REAList,‖ is slated to hit the streets on

December 16th, marking the Ft. Myers, Florida-based rap superstar‘s third full-length

release in just under 16 months.
       ―DEFINITION OF REAL‖ remains a top 10 success on Billboard‘s ―Top Rap

Albums‖ chart. The album follows Plies‘ enormously popular 2007 debut, ―THE REAL

TESTAMENT,‖ which received RIAA gold certification, fueled by the RIAA gold-

certified hit singles, ―Shawty (Feat. T-Pain)‖ and ―Hypnotized (Feat. Akon).‖

Fueled by the success of the chart-topping ―Bust It Baby Part 2‖ and the current

top 20 hip-hop hit, ―Please Excuse My Hands (Feat. Jamie Foxx and The-Dream),‖ the

combined digital sales of tracks from ―DEFINITION OF REAL‖ have now exceeded one

million. In addition, ―Bust It Baby Part 2‖ has received RIAA gold certification for both
digital singles sales as well as ringtone sales of one million.
Meanwhile, Plies is currently being featured on the cover of Vibe‘s December

issue. He has also just unleashed the first single from ―Da REAList‖ – ―Put It On Ya,‖

featuring Big Gates recording artist Chris J. As of last week‘s impact at radio, the single

was the # 1 most-added at both Urban and Rhythmic formats – with major rotation in

such major markets as Dallas, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami,

Washington DC, and many others.

Last month, Plies unveiled ―Pants Hang Low,‖ the first new music from his soon-

to-be-released new album. The track – produced by Mannie Fresh – is earning play at
both Urban and Rhythmic radio outlets. ―Pants Hang Low‖ is currently available at all

DSPs and mobile carriers, while a commercial 12‖ is now in stores.

―Pants Hang Low‖ sees Plies addressing the controversial issue of ―sagging

pants.‖ A number of state and local governments are currently considering laws

outlawing the practice, setting up fines and potential jail terms for offenders. Plies

recently launched www.pantshanglow.com, a blog site devoted to the issue, featuring

news, action alerts, and commentary.

The track marks Plies‘ latest involvement in relevant social and political issues.

He recently unveiled his very own non-profit organization, Big Gates and Plies Power Of

Visions Foundation, Inc., as well as a scholarship program, the ―Somebody Loves You‖

Scholarship Fund.

As if all that weren‘t enough, a companion video to another new track from ―Da

REAList‖ has just debuted on Plies‘ popular YouTube channel. ―Heard Of Me‖ is

streaming now at www.youtube.com/user/PliesWorld.

In other news, Plies and ―Bust It Baby Part 2‖ recently received three nominations

from the annual Online Hip-Hop Awards, including ―Collabo of the Year,‖ ―Hip-Hop

Digital Download of the Year,‖ and ―Hip-Hop Album of the Year‖ (for ―DEFINITION
OF REAL‖). Fans can vote now through November 20th at

www.onlinehiphopawards.com/index.php?page=nominate.
The new nods follow Plies‘ recent trio of nominations from the BET Hip-Hop

Awards, including ―Best Hip-Hop Collabo,‖ ―Hottest Hip-Hop Ringtone of the Year,‖

and ―Alltel Wireless People‘s Champ.‖ The star-studded ceremonies – which aired last

month on BET – saw Plies and Ne-Yo busting out their #1 hit to an ecstatic live audience.

Da REAList is now available to pre-order at www.pliesworld.com. Fans can pick

up an exclusive DVD, signed photo and enter for a chance to go to Plies' album release

party in Tampa, Florida on December 16th.

visual, and visceral Romeo & Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair – between
vampire and mortal.

Thirty-five years since Daryl Hall and John Oates last performed at the Los

Angeles Troubadour as an opening act, they returned in May of 2008 for two nights

where they delighted fans with a nonstop barrage of unforgettable hits. On November 25

Shout! Factory will release Daryl Hall and John Oates: Live at the Troubadour, a two-

hour, 19 song concert on DVD, Blu-Ray, and a 3-disc set containing the DVD and full

concert spread across 2 CDs.
In May 2008, Daryl Hall and John Oates took the stage at the legendary
Troubadour for the first time since playing their earliest Los Angeles shows there 35
years before. The best performances from this much anticipated two-night concert, which
included hits such as ―Maneater,‖ ―Private Eyes,‖ ―Rich Girl,‖ ―Sara Smile‖ and ―Kiss
On My List,‖ will be made available in three formats – DVD, Blu-Ray, and a 1-DVD/2-
CD combo, via Shout! Factory on November 25.
―John and I have a lot of great memories associated with performing at the
Troubadour, since it was our first show in LA," said Daryl. "It's like going back to where
it all began for us. We've always had an enthusiastic following in Los Angeles, and this is
a chance for our fans to see us up close and personal in an intimate setting.‖
Beyond the classic hits, the sold-out shows featured rarely performed fan favorites
and deep album cuts, as well as Daryl Hall solo material, with the duo backed by a band
comprised of longtime member T-Bone Wolk on guitar and vocals, Mike Braun on
drums, Charles DeChant on sax, keys and vocals, Eliot Lewis on keys and vocals, Zev
Katz on bass, and Everett Bradley on percussion and vocals.
The concerts were filmed by Blaze TV with 10 remote-controlled HD cameras,
allowing the viewer to experience the performance as if they were inside the crowded LA
club. Although an abridged version of the show will be broadcast on VH1‘s Rave HD
channel in late 2008, the Live At The Troubadour DVD will be the only way to catch
performances of all of the songs, as well as exclusive new interviews with Hall and
Oates.
Formed in Philadelphia in 1972, Daryl Hall & John Oates have enjoyed six #1
singles between the mid-70‘s and the mid-80‘s, including ―Rich Girl‖ (also #1 R&B),
―Kiss on My List,‖ ―Private Eyes,‖ ―I Can‘t Go For That (No Can Do) (also #1 R&B),
―Maneater‖ and ―Out of Touch,‖ from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums—
‘76‘s Bigger Than Both of Us, ‘80‘s Voices, ‘81‘s Private Eyes, 82‘s H2O, 83‘s Rock N

Young scored a number-one hit with a cover of the song in 1985. That same year, Daryl
and John, participated in the historic ―We Are the World‖ session as well as closing the

―I never thought I‘d be in Oklahoma with a crowd of kids singing our song,‖ says
Jean Paul Makhlouf, lead singer of Cash Cash, in awe over the popularity they have
received on their current tour. ―It‘s a feeling you can‘t describe.‖ Not a small
accomplishment for ―this little band from Jersey.‖ In fact, this is exactly the type of
moment that occurs when you are a hot band on the rise.
Cash Cash is an exciting techno-pop group from the 2 mile long town of
Roseland, New Jersey. The band consists of Jean Paul Makhlouf (vocals, guitar), Alex
Makhlouf (keyboards, programming), Samuel Frisch (vocals, bass), and Anthony
Villacari (drums, percussion). With a sound that is refreshing, electric and infectious,
Cash Cash is able to seamlessly tap into 70s funk, 80s anthem pop and 90s mellow
alternative all at once. Their mission, described perfectly by Jean Paul, is to ―Bring back
some of that 70s funk guitar, mixed in with the life and fun of the 80s.‖
And they have done just that.
But how has Cash Cash reached the precipice of stardom? You would have to go
back to the third grade, because that is how long Jean Paul has known Sam Frisch.
Playing together since they were kids, the band originally formed as The Consequence in
2002, a predominantly studio-based act that released a 5 song EP titled ―Your Own
Place‖ in 2003. After releasing a self-titled LP in 2005, the band began to lose focus,
using a myriad of musicians as various members decided to go off to college. ―Being in
our band was like being on the show Survivor, we were going through bass players,
drummers, keyboard players …‖ says Jean Paul. With the future of the band nebulous at
best, younger brother Alex Makhlouf jumped on board, and he and Jean Paul began
refocusing the band: ―I knew I had to get the hell out of school, so I did the complete
opposite and dropped out of college,‖ recalls Jean Paul. ―My brother and I knew what we
had to do and decided to give it one more stab.‖
The brothers decided to spend an entire summer crafting new material and honing
a sound, day in and day out, virtually living in Jean Paul‘s home recording studio. At
summer‘s end, they knew they created something special. By fall the brothers, stacked
with backpacks full of cds, began an arduous, yet fulfilling campaign to make their music
heard. Storming clubs in and around New York City, including Pete Wentz‘s AK-47
club, the brothers partied, networked and hustled as many A&R men and record
executives as they could find. But the real turning point came when Rob Hitt of Crush
Management began DJing their song ―Party in Your Bedroom.‖ The infectious, easy-to-
sing-along-with, pop sound of the song began turning heads. Shortly thereafter, Jean
Paul‘s Gmail account began filling up with offers from record labels. Changing their
name to Cash Cash in March of 2008, the band, with Frisch aboard as bass player/art
director, and Alex‘s friend Anthony Villacari locked in on drums, signed a record deal
with Universal Republic records and is poised to premiere an EP in October of 2008.
Consisting of 5 songs, including the driving force of ―Breakout‖ and an acoustic version
of ―Party in Your Bedroom,‖ the EP has all the hallmarks of a band that not only is
burning with confidence, but is comfortable with their own sound.
Having just completed their first tour, a tour which not only expanded their fan
base, but further matured and coalesced the band in ways only riding a bus can, Cash
Cash is mixing a full-length album and setting their sites for a release by year end, with a
much larger tour in 09‘ in support of it. Extremely fan friendly and very much aware of
their roots and the influences that drove them, Cash Cash reaches out to their fans at
concerts by meeting them outside for impromptu acoustic performances. That extra
effort, a sound work ethic, their melodic pop songs with fantastic 3-part harmonies, and
the confidence that motivates them are all the ingredients that really separate Cash Cash
from the rest of the pack. No ―get rich quick scheme‖ for Cash Cash – they‘re taking this
all the way to the bank.
