Funding: VTC resources are from: a) Allocated money from the public budget. b) Revenues from practical works. c) Any grants, funds, or financial assistance given to VTC and is approved by the Cabinet. 2. Priorities and purpose: VTC provides vocational training opportunities to prepare the technical workforce and to upgrade its efficiency in various non-academic vocational training levels and specializations and to work on varying the vocational training including: b) 1. apprenticeship for young persons and adults to practice regular long term training established under the provisions of this Law. b) 2. train corporate workers in the specialized training centers and in work sites to upgrade their efficiency. b) 3. intensive and prompt training for various occupations. 3. The Strategic Objectives of ( 2009 – 2011) VTC Upgrading and increasing efficiency (inputs & processes). Capacity building of vocational training system in accordance with the labor market needs and International criteria. Increasing the contribution of the private sector, public sector and national community. Contributing in preparing vocational training policies so that E-TVET Council carries out its objectives.
