GOAL/OBJECTIVE: Students will learn rules of the class and expectations for the year. Heights and weights will be recorded.

                                                      line to another without falling in the creek.
                                                 6.   Roller Racers – Students will use roller racers in a specific
                                                      area.
                                                 7.   Cup Catch – Students will work with the cup trying to catch
                                                      the ball. They can make it harder by lengthening the string.

GOAL/OBJECTIVE:       - Students will continue their floor hockey unit with a culminating game of box hockey.
                       -Students will have the opportunity to utilize their skills of dribbling, passing and shooting within a
                       modified game scenario.
                       -In addition to reinforcing hockey skills the concepts of offense/defense (shooter/guarder) will be
                       introduced.
                       -Continue reinforcement of rules and regulations for proper classroom management as well as the continued
                       importance placed on cooperation, sportsmanship and listening.

                                               of partners of students in the class.
                                          8. Now the beginning of musical soccer begins. Start the music and the
                                               students all dribble their soccer ball
                                          9. When the music stops whichever student has possession of the soccer
                                               ball, they will trap it on a poly spot and their partner will stand next to
                                               them.
                                          10. 2 students will not be fast enough to trap the ball and so those two
                                               students will be the next partners out of the game.
                               If out, the students are to go to the mat area and participate on one of the dice exercises
                               and the students that were sitting out, will go back in the game

                                               6. If student is successful then they are to switch
                                                  places= the person guarding the pin goes to where
                                                  the kicker was, and the kicker who kicked the ball
                                                  goes to guard the pin where the pin fell
                                               7. If student is unsuccessful they keep trying.
                                               8. Students feet, at least 1, must be on the gray line
                                                  at all times while shooting the ball to the pin.
                                               9. If student’s feet both come off of the gray line
                                                  then they are to go down to the fitness mat,
                                                  perform an exercise, and then return to the line
                                                  where they were just standing.

GOAL/OBJECTIVE:
  • Students will understand the importance of cardiovascular fitness.
  • Students will understand how to jog and pace themselves while running (ie in order to run for 10 minutes you need to jog not
     sprint)
  • Students will understand the importance of setting goals and trying to achieve them
  • Students will have the opportunity to utilize some math skills and concepts (addition, multiplication and averages).
  • Continue reinforcement of rules and regulations for proper classroom management as well as the continued importance placed
     on cooperation, sportsmanship and listening.
