Carolyn Galbreath is Director of the Cartels Division of the Competition Authority
and has been a Member of the Competition Authority since April 2006.



Ms. Galbreath has experience in U.S. and European competition law. As a trial
attorney at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (San Francisco
Office), she prosecuted international criminal cartel cases and litigated corporate
mergers. In 1999, Ms. Galbreath was awarded a U.K. Atlantic Fellowship in Public
Policy to study European Union mergers and competition law modernization. Ms
Galbreath is a graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
