3. Approval to attend an open zoned school is at the discretion of the out-of-zone school principal.
4. Out-of-zone application is made to both the zoned school principal (for acknowledgement signature only) and the out-of-zone school principal for
signature prior to May 15.
5. A student residing in Williamson County may enroll in another Williamson County School District school if the parents provide to the principal
prior to enrollment a copy of a bona fide contract and other supporting documentation of their intent to move into that transportation school zone
within the current school year.
6. Both resident and non-resident children of Williamson County Board of Education employees are eligible to attend a school within the feeder
school of the employee‟s work assignment. The children of non-resident employees must pay the standard family tuition.

months.

(Williamson County Board of Education, 1320 West Main Street, Franklin, TN 37064) along with a letter from the parent specifying
detailed reasons for the appeal. A doctor‟s statement may be needed to support a documented need.
3. The Appeals Committee (including one board member) shall meet on a weekly or monthly basis (or as deemed necessary) with
written notification of the decision(s) being provided to both the parent and schools involved.
