                 RESPONDENT’S SUPPLEMENTAL MOTION FOR THE
                  ISSUANCE OF A SUBPOENA AD TESTIFICANDUM


           Pursuant to Rule 3.34(a)(2) of the Federal Trade Commission’s Rules of Practice,

Respondent Rambus, Inc. (“Rambus”) makes this supplemental motion for the issuance

of a subpoena ad testificandum for an individual listed on Rambus’s Final Witness List,

Mr. Alan Grossmeir. Mr. Grossmeir has been a JEDEC representative for Cray, Inc. for

many years. His testimony will relate primarily to his understanding of the JEDEC

patent policy and its application at JEDEC. An unsigned subpoena directed to

Mr. Grossmeir is attached.1 He has stated that he is available to testify at the hearing of

this matter.

  Rambus apologizes for not including Mr. Grossmeir in its initial application for the
issuance of subpoenas. Complaint Counsel have not been prejudiced, however, since
Mr. Grossmeir was identified on Rambus’s preliminary and final witness lists in this
matter.
