Outsourced VP of Sales Job Description

growing salespeople? Then we want you for our team.
EntreQuest is looking to add a Washington DC/NOVA based Outsourced VP of Sales to our growing practice. The
Outsourced VP of Sales will work with several clients at once, possibly in different industries, responsible for all
levels of salespeople. In addition, the Outsourced VP of Sales will:
♦ Work with our clients to improve their sales processes, methodologies and practices.
♦ Work onsite and remotely with the primary aim of providing our clients with the framework, structure,
resources and capabilities to grow top line revenues
♦ Be required to transition from industry to industry seamlessly
♦ Operate both strategically and tactically with clients in order to drive results
♦ Consult with the Owners and C‐Suite to set sales strategy and play a role in the strategy execution
♦ Help clients grow their sales teams through hiring and restructuring resources
♦ Provide the client with clarity around goals, objectives, mission, and direction.
To apply for this position, candidates must possess the following:
♦ Sales experience in various industries. Experience in both B2B and B2C sales is encouraged
o Proven success in building your own network
o Must have proven sales success, accolades, etc.
♦ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
♦ Strong presentation skills
♦ Four year college degree is required; a Masters degree is preferred
♦ Must have experience consulting with C‐level Executives
♦ Sales Management or VP of Sales experience is a must, specifically in professional services
o Sales funnel/pipeline management
o Developing accountability metrics
o Developing business strategy and execution
o Technologically savvy: building spreadsheets, flow diagrams, understanding CRM operating
systems and how to manage against them, etc.
♦ Candidate must possess strong sales management and leadership skills, have the ability to transition from
industry to industry seamlessly, and operate as a strategic and tactical thinker. Compensation is
commensurate with experience and includes a base salary plus bonus opportunity and an attractive benefits
