AACE Abstract Submission Worksheet
When submitting an abstract, you will be asked to:
Step 1a: Login to the System
Already have an account: New user:
a. Enter your E-mail address a. Click on the New User Account Icon to set up an account
b. Enter your E-mail address
Step 1b: Add a New Abstract or Edit an Existing Abstract
Fro m the Abstract Management Menu, you can then either:
a. Add a new abstract
b. Select an existing abstract and edit it
If you are Adding A New Abstract, you will be asked for the following information:
Steps 2-4: Enter Corresponding and Presenting Author Names and Contact Information
Use the Name search to find an author already in the database (to select a name, click on the First Name )

The following box and paragraph format will serve as a guide to developing your abstract text so it fits within the required space and word limit. In WORD, p le ase use TOOLS –
WORD COUNT to verify that the text of your abs tract does NOT exceed 250 words using Times New Ro man 10 point font, single spaced.
Step 9: Upload One Associated File or Graphic
You many upload one associated file or graphic fro m you computer.
However, the comp lete title, author list, abstract text and the graphic or table must all fit within the total space allocated for each abstract in the Journal for Cancer Education:

Step 10: Verify, Print and Finalize Your Abstract
Verify that your information is all co rrect. The reviewers, conference organizers and publishers will NOT change any of your information you submit pre-publication.
Print a copy of your submission for your records
Finalize your abstract. (if it is not finalized, it will not be reviewed)
You can return to the abstract submission system and review / edit your abstract at any time up until the abstract submission closes.
