Bon Courage has come of age celebrating 21 years as a registered estate. This winery makes
it look so easy receiving award after award that one tends to forget that it is the result of very
hard work and a lifetime of experienced craftmanship.

The 2000 Jacques Bruere Brut Reserve was recently named the winner in the Amorin Wine
Magazine Cap Classique Challenge. This was no luck as their 2000 Jacques Bruere Brut
Reserve Blanc de blanc received a gold at the 2004 Veritas awards. Other Veritas medals
included:
Double Gold 2004 Bon Courage Colombar-Chardonnay
Gold 2004 Bon Courage Gewurztraminer Special Late Harvest

At the inaugural Muscadel Association Awards Bon Courage also received gold medals for both

5-STAR FEVER @ Robertson Winery
Having your wine awarded with a 5* rating in the John Platter Guide is not something that happens every day. Thus it is with
good reason that Robertson Winery winemaker, Lolly Louwrens is smiling all the way.

The 2001 Wide River Noble Late Harvest were one of only 17 wines deemed good enough to get this elusive rating. Not bad if
you take into account that 4 000 wines were originally submitted for tasting.

“When making NLH you take a great risk leaving the grapes on the vine and when noble rot doesn‟t set in, you lose
it all. But when you‟ve got that liquid gold in the bottle, it‟s more than worth the sweat” comments Lolly.

rapporteer is.
