Advanced notice of the next meeting of the Steering Group with all network partners
October 10th – 11th, 2007, Katowice (Poland)


The next obligatory meeting of the Steering Group of EcoMedia Europe will take place for all
network partners from October 10th – 11th, 2007 in Katowice, Poland (before the second
Thematic Conference).

The arrival for all network partner is planned for Tuesday, October 9th, 2007. For
Wednesday morning (October 10th) we plan to participate at the opening of the Comenius
Contact Seminar, afterwards we are going to start the meeting of the Steering Group. On
October 11th, 2007 it is planned that we work the whole day in the scope of the Steering
Group.

The meetings of the Steering Group (you’ll receive the agenda in time) will be followed by
the 2. Thematic Conference from October 12th – 14th, 2007 in Katowice where all network
partners are asked to participate. Departure is planned for Monday morning (Oct. 15 th,
2007).

Individual extension of your stay to the visit Krakow and the world-famous salt mine
Wieliczka is possible on your own expenses.

We accommodation for all network partners is the Novotel in Katowice (please refer to the
conference brochure).

We point out that all partners are requested (according to the financial guidelines of the
European Commission) to book the cheapest possible opportunity for the journey. As far as
you’ll arrive by plane it is already possible to book flights. Applications of the network
partners have to be send to the coordinator, the Regional School Board Wolfsberg. We’ll
forward the collected information to the Polish partner institution. If there are any queries,
feel free to contact us!

Airport destinations are Katowice (PL), with approx. 15 km distance to the conference venue
or Krakow with approx. 80 km distance to Katowice. As we are in a very important stage of
our network implementation and the whole “EcoMedia Europe” network acts in the position
of the organiser of the 2. Themtic Conference we expect the participation of all network
partners. Moreover Poland offers the big opportunity to get to know a new country of the
European Union.
