        Develop staff elements, written standards, and security functions; standardize training/operations procedures for access
        control to installations, search of vehicles entering the installations, supervision of the guard force, bomb dog teams,
        roving security patrols, and supervision of the guard force.
        Integrate new security functions into the program, including Department of Defense Schools, bomb dog teams for
        detection of explosives, and large-vehicle inspection systems using advanced technology to detect explosives or nuclear
        material.
