Office personnel throughout the entire jail system. Conduct planning, organizing, and budget management decisions.
Review reports, maintain equipment, monitor mandatory training for staff, and update policies and procedures. Previously
served as Watch Commander during after-hours, the highest-ranking Sheriff’s official, on behalf of XYZ County.
Supervised and managed Patrol Operations and all jail facilities.
DIVISION COMMANDER, LIEUTENANT (2002 – 2006)
Directed the Records Division’s 24/7 operation. Oversaw a manager, five supervisors, and 58 employees. Updated and
developed policies and procedures.
Implemented the “Second Chance Program” in a partnership with the media to advertise the voluntary program. As a
result, 83% of the individuals cited appeared in court and 649 warrants were cleared in a one-month period with
substantial savings to the County and more efficient use of its resources.

Increased efficiency by automating the filing of warrants; initiated the modernization of the Records Division.
Initiated and implemented the replacement of workstations, making them more ergonomic for the employees.
