    world through coordination with Country Managers. Country assignments included: Chile, Argentina, Thailand,
    India, Pakistan, Norway, Netherlands, Central America, Taiwan, and Japan. Dealt with senior government officials.
    - Evaluated and negotiated with diverse suppliers in the US and overseas to complete awarded contracts with company
    customers. Managed Norwegian and US companies totaling $45,000,000 in contracts.

     - Hired for short-duration (18 months) project to develop market penetration of wholesale residential door systems into
retail outlets. Worked closely with ad agency, packaging engineers, and distributors to successfully formulate plan and
product mix to “Big Box” home improvement customers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menard’s.
Results: First-ever fully functional retail product line developed and introduced into Home Depot .

A $2.4 billion plastics manufacturer of home, office, and juvenile products.
Recruited into 1st class of newly formed Global Leadership Development Program. Individual positions during this
extensive two-year training period included the following:

Production Manager
   - Led daily production activities of company’s largest manufacturing facility. Daily counseled, mediated, coached,
disciplined, interviewed, hired, and terminated, as needed, 21 line supervisors/300+ hourly workers which included highly
diverse workforce (African-American, Hispanics, Ukrainians).
Results: Successfully organized two separate production facilities to pass ISO 9001 certification inspection on first attempt
with very little advance notice. Successfully thwarted local labor union from organizing hourly workers through attention
to workers needs, desires, increasing direct management/worker communications, and enhancing worker efficiencies.

International Project Manager – Specialty Products Division – Wooster, OH (1995)
   - Evaluated and managed international start-up operations in Mexico City, Bahrain, and Eastern Asia.
Results: Rationalization of domestic suppliers and supplanting with off-shore replacement facilities closer to international
customers resulted in savings exceeding $35M annually.

Product Marketing Manager – Office Products Division – Knoxville, TN (1994)
   - Marketing member of cross-functional Storage & Organization Line business team. Coordinated all aspects of
marketing new and existing products including establishing opening, mid, and upper tier price points, Features and Benefits
sheets, new product development, focus group analysis, multi-lingual packaging, and promotional plans for sales force.

    - Planned and conducted market research analysis customer visits to Brazil and Argentina recommending new market
    penetration techniques to Group Marketing Managers and Vice-President, International.
Results: Product introductions into Wal-Marts in Argentina and Brazil resulted in first-ever division sales in Latin America.

   - Enacted processes to remain within annual operating plans utilizing spreadsheet analysis and trend forecasting
