GeoDigital International Inc. is looking for an Staff Accountant to complement the Finance team in our
Headquarters situated in Hamilton, Ontario. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager and will
work independently in delivering timely and efficient Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general
accounting support across North America. This role will evolve as GeoDigital continues to grow through
company acquisitions and requires a strong team player that can drive results as well take on additional
responsibilities in a fast paced work environment.

Job Responsibilities

•   Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
•   Process invoices and manage accounts receivable collections.
•   Auditing and processing employee expense reports.
•   Preparation of bank reconciliations.
•   Prepare cash forecast and analyses including written summaries.
•   Assist with month-end and year end close.
•   Assist with both internal/external audits.
•   Performs variance analysis on G/L accounts and other transactions.
•   Perform additional administrative assignments in accordance with Accounting Manager’s direction.


•   Educational and experience requirements include a minimum of three to five years of related
    experience. Preference will be given to candidates currently pursuing an accounting designation
    (CGA, CMA, CA).
•   An understanding of QuickBooks is preferable
•   Proficient in Microsoft Office: Advanced MS Excel Skills i.e. pivot tables.
•   Must possess excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
•   Ability to work in a demanding multi-tasking environment.
•   Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
•   Excellent time management and effective organizational skills
•   High commitment to deadlines and schedules.
•   Great initiative in recommending suggestions to improve internal controls and other operational
