What can they do for my client?

The Speech and Hearing Department offers a variety of services for children and adults. Services
offered include:

    1.   Complete speech-language evaluations
    2.   Voice evaluations
    3.   Speech, language, voice and stuttering therapy
    4.   Hearing tests
    5.   Sale and repair of hearing aids
    6.   Service to child development centers and nursing homes
    7.   Clinic for children’s special health services
    8.   Consultation as requested with parents, teachers or family members

The Speech and Hearing Department accepts Medicaid for services rendered; but, Medicaid does
not pay for any hearing aids.

This agency serves Hertford, Bertie, Gates and Northampton counties. The staff is licensed and
collaborates with Dr. Gelot (ENT).
