AMPLIFON: wins the prestigious Ruban d’Honneur for "Customer Focus" in
The European Business Awards 2010.
Milan, July 30th, 2010 – The European Business Awards (www.businessawardseurope.com) has
announced that Amplifon is one of the recipients of the prestigious Ruban d’Honneur for
"Customer Focus" in The European Business Awards 2010 competition, sponsored by HSBC.
This accolade testifies the excellence of the Group’s results achieved worldwide within its field
and is an important recognition of the customer service culture and attention to customer
satisfaction, deeply rooted in the history and mission of Amplifon.
The Ruban d’Honneur is awarded to up to ten successful European companies, in each
category, that have distinguished themselves for the excellence of their achievements in
innovation, customer focus and business sustainability.
Amplifon is the only one, out of the 25 Italian companies selected as Country Representatives
for Italy, to be given a Ruban d'Honneur in the "Customer Focus" category.
Thanks to this important acknowledgment, Amplifon will now compete as a finalist for the
ultimate prize of the European Business Award within the "Customer Focus" category and will
participate in the Awards final ceremony at The Westin in Paris on November 16th, 2010.

All Ruban d’Honneur recipients will now appear before a third judging panel of highly regarded
academics, heads of state, industrialists, entrepreneurs and media experts drawn from across
Europe. The interviews will take place at HSBC’s offices in Canary Wharf, London.
