To help students empathize with the joys and problems of the first American colonists. Objectives: 1. Enact the meeting to start the celebration of the Second Thanksgiving together with the “Fortune” pilgrims. Give close retelling of the appropriate parts of the text. 2. Practise expressive, emotional speech and reading. 3. Revise the basic vocabulary in a crossword. Meanwhile give each student T’s remarks on the presentation and the mark. 4.
