England Hockey ClubsFirst Logo guidelines Old Version (pre March ‟08) New Version (from March ‟08) England Hockey England Hockey (the umbrella brand of the England Hockey Ltd.) was created in 2003 and the England Hockey logo has become the public face of the organisation. England Hockey is the National Governing Body for hockey in England and is working towards creating a public profile that reflects this status and the scale of its investment in hockey. England Hockey ClubsFirst logo The logo for the 4th edition incorporates the blue tick from Sport England‟s Clubmark. The ClubsFirst logo incorporates the word “ClubsFirst” in white text surrounded by a blue background. The blue tick is to the left of “ClubsFirst” and the England Hockey logo is to the right. The England Hockey lion and associated text are in blue with a white backdrop surrounded by a blue border. As of March 2008, the 4th edition ClubsFirst logo will be used by England Hockey in all ClubsFirst branding and should be adopted by all clubs who are either already accredited or by clubs when they achieve accreditation. The Lion symbol (known as The EH Lion) and logotype together make up the England Hockey logo. The 3rd edition Clubs 1st logo comprises the EH Lion logo with England Hockey Clubs 1st as the strap line. As of March 2008, England Hockey will cease to use this logo. Clubs who were already accredited before March 2008 will be permitted to keep using the old Clubs 1st logo until 1st September 2008. Use of the England Hockey ClubsFirst logo Only clubs who have been awarded the ClubsFirst accreditation are entitled to use the England Hockey ClubsFirst logo. Clubs working towards their accreditation may refer to the award (see „Use of the England Hockey ClubsFirst name), but may not use the logo until they have passed. The ClubsFirst logo can be used by accredited clubs when issuing any form of promotional or publicity material, including website, stationery, press releases, leaflets, brochures, club kit and posters. The logo should always be proportionally sized. The minimum width for the logo is 35mm. Correct Incorrect or or Use of the England Hockey ClubsFirst name Any club wishing to refer to England Hockey ClubsFirst in written documents may do so. The words "England Hockey ClubsFirst" should always be used, but may be shortened to ClubsFirst. ClubsFirst should always appear as one word with a capital C and a capital F. The award name should not be written out as two separate words.
