BARGAIN BOOKS GALORE AND MORE!
Love books? Love bargains even more? The 25th Annual Friends of the Plano Public Library Book Sale is coming up on July 31, August 1 and 2, and will transform the Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway, into a book bargain hunter’s paradise. Known as one of the biggest book sales in the region, the Friends’ sale will feature a variety of gently-used hardbacks, paperbacks, DVDs, CDs, audios and videos, priced at $2 or under. July 31 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $5 for individuals and $10 for families, and offers the best choice of books. For added excitement, books signed by authors, collector’s items, and other rare and unique titles will be scattered among the thousands of books available. Free admission on Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. allows for leisurely shopping for the whole family. All proceeds benefit Plano Public Library System programs, so shoppers can shop ‘til they drop knowing they are benefiting a great cause.
