The Customer Support Eastern Region headquartered at Ågotnes outside Bergen is the single
point of contact for the expertise, personnel, systems and tools needed for installation and
field service management and support. FMC Technologies works with its customers in
maximizing the productivity of oil & gas fields, providing support through the entire life of a
field. The company provides expertise that not only helps increase production – but helps to
extend the life of the field. The Customer Support organisation has approximately 800
employees, and a turnover of 250 million USD.




                         FINANCE CONTROLLER
                International role and part of management group

The position as Finance Controller will be one of the key executives of the Customer
Support organisation. The position is a vital leadership role of the Customer Support
organisation (250 mill USD turnover) and has financial responsibility over all activities
performed out of Ågotnes, which includes systems installation and follow-up after
production has been completed. The Finance Controller will report directly to the
Director of the Customer Support Organisation and functionally to the Director of
Finance, Eastern Region, of FMC Kongsberg Subsea.


Key responsibilities:
   Head the financial function of the Customer Support organisation of FMC Kongsberg
    Subsea, Eastern Region
   Frequent interaction and reporting to Director of Finance FMC Kongsberg Subsea and the
    Director of the Customer Support organisation
   Drive financial performance in all areas of the Customer Support organisation
   Manage budgets and forecast cycles
   Act as a sparring partner and provide financial leadership and direction for the team of 18
    employees; financial controllers, project controllers, accounting and administrative
    personnel
   Four direct reports; Finance Controller based in Canada, Finance Controller based in
    Scotland, Finance Controller based in Ågotnes, as well as Project Controller based in
    Ågotnes
   Build strong relationships with the other functions of the business
   Review of financial issues
   Understand the financials and cost implications of new projects and make determinations
    to estimate cost and risk in new projects
   Handle requests and discuss financial matters in general
   Manage the internal control environment, improve processes and enforce that appropriate
    authorizations are obtained in order to approve business decisions
   Provide ad-hoc financial analyses as business conditions require and make
    recommendations on strategic decisions


Qualifications and skills:
   Relevant experience from financial leadership positions with proven ability to drive
    budget, forecast and improving results
   Financial assertiveness and authority, with ability to implement decisions
   Masters degree in business, finance or equivalent
   Experience from a corporate environment, preferably industrial company with multi-
    country operations
   Knowledge of internationally accepted accounting principles
   Experience with ERP systems
   Structured and analytical
   Dynamic with a high energy level and work capacity
   Willingness to understand and quickly acquire knowledge about FMC Technologies’
    business
   Strong command of English
