Rogers AT&T Wireless Launches Innovative Services Powered by InfoSpace's Instant-
Access SMS Solutions
BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2002-- even those that are not WAP or two-way SMS capable.
To access information and entertainment services, a Rogers AT&T Wireless customer need only press the "pound" key on
their mobile handset twice followed by a pre-configured number that they have selected to represent a category of information,
then press "send." Momentarily, an SMS message containing the requested information is delivered to the user's wireless
device. For example, a user could configure "pound-pound-one" to receive the latest traffic reports or "pound-pound-two" to
receive personalized movie listings, sports scores or the weather forecast.
To download and exchange ringtones or screen graphics, customers with a compatible Rogers AT&T Wireless device can
simply press the "pound" key twice followed by the number corresponding to the item they have selected and the number to
which they want the item sent. Customers can easily search from over one thousand different ringtones and graphics on the
Rogers AT&T Wireless website at www.rogers.com/ringtones.
"We're pleased to have partnered with InfoSpace to help enable Rogers AT&T Wireless customers with fast and easy access to
wireless information and entertainment services without having to upgrade to new devices," said David Neale, Vice President,
New Product Development, Rogers AT&T Wireless. "What's also exciting is that the pound-pound technology provides
customers with more than sports scores and weather, but also a wide selection of downloadable ringtones and graphics that
enhance the uniqueness of their wireless phone."
InfoSpace's Instant-Access SMS technology is an example of the company's multi-modal approach to wireless data, offering

InfoSpace's mobile applications can be provisioned and deployed over numerous network and device protocols, including one

others.
"This announcement underscores our commitment to offer carriers the broadest range of data services and applications that
can be deployed over any combination of current and next generation technologies, to best suit the needs of their subscriber
base and provide a clear path to usage and adoption of mobile data services," said Jan Claesson, InfoSpace executive vice
