WEPower 2009 POST SHOW REPORT Event Highlights Under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Hussayen, Minister of Water and Electricity, WE-POWER 2009 had the full the support of the Ministry of Water and Electricity of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Electricity Company, Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Electricity & Co-generation Regulatory Authority and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. The event attracted over 121 exhibitors and 2,500 professional visitors. It was held in Dammam, heart of the water and power boom of Saudi Arabia, from the 7th to the 10th of June 2009. The event offered both an international exhibition and a strategic forum and was held in the projects rich Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia making it a strategic opportunity to meet and network with current and potential clients all in one location.
