Introduction: 

Safety is a primary concern in any manufacturing area.  The woodshop at St. Croix Falls is no exception.  

Part 1: 

Generate ten general safety statements that should be followed in the woodshop. General classroom 
rules can be used should they pertain to safety.  Use any other resources that you see appropriate for 
this task.  Document all sources. 

Part 2: 

From your list of ten safety statements, pick one to turn into a poster.  The poster should be 8.5” x 11”, 
colored, limited text, able to read/seen from 15’ away.
