Dear Mr. Keller:

For the past few months, we have seen an incredible number of inflammatory biased attacks on Sri Lanka in the New
York Times, some even based on hearsay and false stories generated by the Tamil Tiger Terrorists.

Here is just once such example:

Sri Lanka: Inquiry Sought on Atrocities on May 26, 2009

“The United Nations’ top human rights official demanded an independent investigation on Tuesday
into allegations of atrocities committed by both sides in Sri Lanka’s civil war. Navi Pillay, left, the high
commissioner for human rights, said tens of thousands of civilians were killed or wounded in intense
fighting between the government and Tamil rebels beginning in December. But a majority of the 47
countries at the United Nations’ Geneva-based Human Rights Council appeared unwilling to accept
her appeal for a war crimes investigation.”

There are many things wrong with reporting such false allegations in the form of legitimate news.

United Nations’ top human rights official Navi Pillay is an ethnic Tamil appointed to that
position by the strong pro-LTTE group inside the UN. Previous examples of individuals
supporting the LTTE inside the UN were Alan Rock, a prominent LTTE Terrorist fundraiser
and supporter in the Canadian government and Radhika Coomaraswamy, an ethnic Tamil.

Now let’s connect the dots and discuss the Tamil Tiger Terrorists in South Africa
and its connections to the United Nations’ human rights official:

The LTTE maintains a well-established base in South Africa. It is also
home to Navanethem Pillay.

"The international intelligence and security community
focused their attention on South Africa with recent reports
exposing the clandestine political and military infrastructure of the
                               Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
(LTTE) in South Africa. To many, it
came as no surprise because from time to time, there were unverified reports that groups
such as Hamas (Palestinian), Hezbollah (Lebanese), PKK (Turkey) and Bin Laden
(Afghan-based), were operating out of South Africa. .. Close links between South
African Tamils and the LTTE were forged through the International
                                  Secretariat in London."

                                  http://www.sinhaya.com/SA_Connection.htm

When Pillay was appointed to the position of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in
2008, Sri Lanka was ousted from the Human Rights Council by the strong lobbying of the
LTTE. These were considered victories for the Tigers.

Navi Pillay’s Statement Reveals Bias

Therefore we hope you realize the following:

Navi Pillay calling inquiry into the intense fighting that defeated the LTTE is like
Taliban’s Mullah Mohamed calling for ‘independent’ investigation
into the United States’ and NATO’s anti- Taliban & al-Qaeda
operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan that have killed thousands.

With so many powerful individuals (David Miliband of UK, Bernard Kouchner of France,
Navi Pillay) and nations (Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Netherlands, U.S.) influenced by the international
Tamil Tiger Terrorists involved in this matter, how in the world can we ever expect an independent
investigation? It is not wise to appoint the drug cartel to police the drug dealer.

Then there is the alleged “tens of thousands of civilians were killed or wounded in intense fighting". These are
false data generated by the Tiger Terrorists and fed to the UN and the international
community. Even staged photographs by LTTE were used to give legitimacy to a massive
campaign of fraud. Isn’t it criminal to even call for an inquiry based solely on deception?

Now to the civilian casualties: don’t we see that in every war? How about the
war in Iraq? What about so many civilians killed in Afghanistan and Pakistan by
us? What about the two atomic bombs on Japan that indiscriminately
killed millions? Why are there no cries about atrocities,
investigations and punishments on the victorious allies?

UN’s Navi Pillay has never ferociously campaigned for any investigation
into torture, rape and murder of Iraqi civilians in the U.S. war in Iraq.
You see the same inaction in the Gaza war. Why is that? Don’t you think that
human life and rights in Iraq, Gaza, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Sri

     Holding the Tiger’s tail:

What would happen to Navi Pillay in the Tamil community, a community very
bitter after the terror group they backed was defeated, if she did not attack Sri
Lankans in every possible manner? It is possible that she’ll be labeled as a
traitor by her own community and will not be employable anywhere
that has a strong LTTE presence, including South Africa. In other
words, the militant Tamil diaspora will eat her alive if she failed to
persecute Sri Lanka. Therefore what choice does she have?

When there is good news to report:
New York Times have yet to report on the extremely important outcome at the UN
Human Rights Council on May 27, 2009 on your front page as you have reported other
news about this country. The UN Rights body praised Sri Lanka's victory over Tamil
Tigers & condemned the terrorists for using civilians as human shields. "China, Cuba, Egypt and 26 others on the 47-
member council voted in favor of a resolution that described the conflict as a "domestic" matter that did not warrant
outside interference. The council also supported the Sri Lankan government's decision to provide aid groups only with
"access as may be appropriate" to refugee camps.”

More news for you: A battle of humanity vs. inhumanity:
“The old, maimed and injured were included in the last lot and were slowly moving through the Vadduvakkal bridge across
the Nanthikadal lagoon as the huge influx of civilians thinned out into
dozens as if they were stepping into a different country. The elderly
without help were crawling whilst maimed and the injured were moving on
crutches and wheel chairs.”

“It was so pathetic to observe the scene but heartening to see soldiers
offering their bottled water to this hapless crowd seeking protection at the
last leg of the battle and were carrying them on their shoulders for
immediate treatment.”

“That was the paradox in this war. It was a humanity versus inhumanity
battle.”

May we ask you why the news blackout on positive news about Sri Lanka that counters negative reports?

More news you should report: Cowardly terrorists in disguise living among civilians
LTTE's women's political wing head Thamilini in Police custody - She was pretending to be an ordinary civilian living in the
Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Vavuniya! She had told the police that she threw away her cyanide capsule
and her pistol and passed off as a displaced person.

http://www.colombopage.com/archive_091/May1243519198RA.html

This underscores the great importance of screening all IDPs to make sure that Tamil Tiger Terrorists are not hiding within
the civilian population. If these hardcore LTTE Terrorists escape, they will regroup and launch terror attacks against
civilians, as they have done for the last 25 years.

Now to the Journalistic Standards and Ethics:
The Society of Professional Journalists says "…duty of the journalist is to further those ends by seeking truth and
providing a fair and comprehensive account of events and issues. Conscientious journalists from all media and specialties
strive to serve the public with thoroughness and honesty". If so, how did you miss all the facts and relevant news
mentioned above of the separatist conflict in Sri Lanka?

We sincerely hope that there is no Pulitzer Prize for such aberrations in the media!
